How we make a difference
It is in our nature to help the planet
At Nature Planet we are proud to be working alongside PLAN International and Red Panda Network. Each time we sell a product from on of these two ranges, a percent of the revenue is donated to the organizations.
Together with our dedicated customers and in cooperation with the organizations PLAN International, we have built 16 schools in Nepal and Indonesia and saved Kamalari slave girls from poverty.
PLAN International
Founded in 1937 and working in more than 70 countries, PLAN International is an NGO that advances child rights and equality for girls. They fight for a just world, working together with children, young people, supporters and partners.
“Since 2009 Nature Planet has changed daily life for thousands of children in Indonesia and Nepal – you ensure vulnerable children quality education, a safe childhood, and a brighter future. We greatly appreciate our partnership. On behalf of the children and their families thank you for your loyal support and donations, which make a huge difference in their lives. Warm greetings from all of us at Plan.”

Red Panda Network
Red Panda Network is a Nepalese NGO that is leading the fight to save the red panda. Unfortunately, our planet has lost half of its wild red pandas in just 20 years.
Their community-based red panda conservation programs began in just a few villages in eastern Nepal but have now been replicated in ten districts – 50% of Nepal’s red panda range.

3 ways we celebrate Corporate Social Responsibility
Supporting children’s education - SDG 4
|
"In Nature Planet we strongly believe that education is the best way to reduce poverty and ensure equal rights." |
Since 2009 Nature Planet has supported projects in underdeveloped countries focusing on enabling quality education for children. We do this through our partner Plan International and we do it by promoting Plan’s projects in our communication material, by developing special Plan product programs and by donating a share of our turnover to Plan International.
We have sponsored the building and renovating of 16 earthquake safe schools in remote areas of Indonesia and 1 earthquake safe school and two medical centers in Nepal.
Minimizing our environmental impact – SDG 12
|
"We wish to leave as small an environmental footprint as possible. We focus on reducing, reusing and recycling." |
At Nature Planet we work with Fair Trade manufacturers that are members of WFTO. We believe Fair Trade is one of the most powerful tools to reduce poverty in a sustainable way.
Our product development strategy is to always source environmentally “friendly” material and products where possible and our buildings use 100% green energy
This includes plastic products made from sugarcanes, recycled paper, recycled plush and recycled textile. We have an animal plush range made of reused plastic bottles, we use the Oeko-tex certification and we use 100% recycled stuffing in our plush ranges.
For Nature Planet and Wildlife Artists products, we have no single use plastic.
For the love of all animals – SDG 15

"In Nature Planet we support the conservation of natural habitats and biodiversity." |
